About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading Nordic value-added distributor specializing in cybersecurity, IT management and infrastructure solutions. Following recent expansion activities in the Nordic region, they are investing in the Finnish market and are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to drive the growth of the business across Finland.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a vendor business within a growing organization and establish a strong local presence in Finland with long-term potential to build and lead a local team.

Responsibilities

Vendor Ownership

  • Own and drive the Finnish business
  • Develop and execute the local go-to-market strategy
  • Act as the primary business contact between, partners and the distributor organization
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Channel Development

  • Recruit, enable and develop reseller partners
  • Increase partner engagement and pipeline generation
  • Support partners in identifying and winning new opportunities
  • Drive partner trainings, workshops and local marketing initiatives

Business Development

  • Develop new business opportunities across the Finnish market
  • Re-engage existing customers currently supported from Sweden
  • Create and execute account plans for strategic targets
  • Generate sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion

Market Development

  • Build strong relationships within the Finnish IT ecosystem
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities and growth opportunities
  • Represent the company and vendor at industry events, conferences and partner meetings

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5+ years experience in:
  • Software Sales
  • Channel Sales
  • Business Development
  • Partner Management
  • Experience selling or promoting solutions in one or more of the following areas:
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • Endpoint Management
  • Identity Management
  • Infrastructure Software
  • Enterprise Software

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business development mindset
  • Ability to work independently and build a market
  • Commercially driven with entrepreneurial attitude
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Good understanding of channel and partner ecosystems
  • Technical understanding of enterprise IT environments
